Guides & FAQ
Everything you need to know about Fivelogger—from integration to advanced features.
Getting Started
Fivelogger is an advanced logging and analytics platform specifically designed for servers. It provides real-time monitoring, comprehensive audit trails, powerful insights, and seamless webhook integration to help server administrators manage their logs efficiently.
Fivelogger integrates with your server through webhooks. Simply replace your existing Discord or other webhook URL with your Fivelogger webhook URL, and we automatically capture, parse, and display your logs in an intuitive dashboard. No code changes required—we handle all the parsing and formatting for you.
No! That's the beauty of Fivelogger. If you're already using Discord webhooks or similar logging solutions, simply replace the webhook URL with your Fivelogger webhook URL. Your existing code stays exactly the same—we handle everything else automatically.
Integration
Integration is incredibly simple: 1) Create a server in your Fivelogger dashboard, 2) Create a log category for your logs, 3) Copy the webhook URL from your category, 4) Replace your existing webhook URL in your code with the Fivelogger webhook URL. That's it! Your logs will start appearing in the dashboard immediately.
Absolutely! Fivelogger is fully compatible with Discord webhook format. If you're currently using Discord webhooks, you can simply replace the Discord URL with your Fivelogger webhook URL. We automatically parse Discord format including username, content, embeds, and markdown formatting.
Fivelogger supports Discord webhook format (with username, content, embeds) and simple message format (just a content field with your log message). Both formats work seamlessly—choose whichever fits your needs best.
Yes! Fivelogger works with any programming language that can send HTTP POST requests. While our examples use Lua, you can integrate from JavaScript/Node.js, Python, C#, Java, or any other language. Just send a POST request to your webhook URL with the appropriate JSON body.
Features & Functionality
Fivelogger offers real-time log monitoring, advanced search and filtering, date range filtering, customizable log categories, webhook-based integration, Discord format support, automatic log parsing, pagination for large log volumes, user and team management, server organization, and detailed log viewing.
Yes! Categories are a core feature of Fivelogger. You can create multiple categories per server (e.g., "Player Actions", "Economy", "Admin Logs", "Errors") and each category gets its own webhook URL. This makes it easy to organize and filter your logs by type.
The dashboard provides powerful filtering options: search by keyword, filter by date range, sort by date (ascending/descending), and adjust the number of logs displayed per page. All filtering happens in real-time to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
Yes! Your logs are updated in real-time on the dashboard. The log page automatically refreshes every few seconds to show the latest logs, so you can monitor your server activity as it happens.
Support & Troubleshooting
If logs aren't appearing: 1) Verify you're using the correct webhook URL from your category, 2) Check that your code is sending POST requests to the webhook URL, 3) Ensure the request body includes a "content" field with your log message, 4) Check for any errors in your server console. If issues persist, contact our support team.
